Three ladies who share a passion for crafting, fun and friendship, who met through scrapbooking and have attended many retreats themselves, decided to unite to offer new and exciting workshops and scrapbooking retreats in the Midlands.
And so Birds of a Feather was hatched in August 2016!
We aim to offer truly bespoke and innovative experiences for scrapbookers of all ages and experience, from novice to the many of us that have shared this love of crafting for many, many years.
Sam’s love of craft and design led her to discover scrapbooking in 2007 and she has never looked back! Her work has appeared in many magazines, she is currently on the DT for Hey Little Magpie and taught at many of the the Scrapagogo retreats. Most of her layouts feature her three stunning step-daughters. Sam loves her holidays and admits that she is totally addicted to holiday’s cruising with her husband and family, when she’s not blogging for her own company ‘Serendipity happens’.Initially a cardmaker, Sheena discovered scrapbooking in 2006. ‘Grow it, make it, bake it’ was her Dad’s favourite phrase and this ethos has continued into Sheena’s adulthood. As well as scrapbooking, Sheena is an avid crocheter and quilter. Her work has been featured in UK magazines and as far away as Australia! She has taught at retreats including Scrapagogo and is currently on the DT team for Hey Little Magpie and Shimelle, whose sell out collections include Starshine and Go Now Go.Jackie discovered scrapbooking after attending a ‘memory keeping’ workshop in 2008. After that she was hooked! Jackie has had many layouts published over the years, as well as being awarded the prestigious ‘Scrapbooker of the Year’. She is currently on the DT team for Hey Little Magpie and has taught many classes at both local crops, further afield and as a guest designer for Scrapagogo. She lives in the Midlands with her husband and son James, who is the subject of many of her layouts.
